While Perth is often described as one of the most isolated cities in the world, what surprised us most was how relaxed, modern and incredibly easy it was to explore. Wide open spaces, beautiful waterfront areas and a clean, easy-to-navigate city centre made it the perfect place to spend a few days wandering without any real plans.
